He wasn't better, he just got a knockdown which is 2 points. Fury used the next 2 rounds to recover his head, losing more ground. Tyson was outclassing him till that 9th round and will outclass him in rematch

I don't rate Fury but this is my assessment of it too.

Fury had serious opportunities in the early rounds but didnt use it. Plus the stupid showboating.

Usyk's ability to regenerate energy won it for him. He was serious from the get go.

Fury outclassed him but in heavyweight boxing, all it takes is one punch

Fury lost 4 consecutive points from that one punch from Usyk, the 2 points in that round and the consecutive 2 rounds while he was clearing his head

Barring another knockout punch in the rematch, Fury will win on points

Well said, The bold is why I feel this is a deliberate attempt to throw the match.

Obviously Fury had Usyk on the ropes and could have finished Usyk off but for some reason let him off the ropes

This result have given the storyline to the fight and the upcoming fights that would have been missing if say Fury had knocked him out in the 5th round

I got the same feeling with every Fury vs Wilder vs 1, Fury vs Ngannou

Different people have what they are obsessed with . There are people who like to eat exquisite meals and eat at fancy restaurants as their own obsession.

Just the way some ladies like to buy expensive wigs, some men like to wear expensive perfumes , both sex like to look good wearing easily recognizable designers . That’s just how some people like to eat good meal that are quite expensive at some restaurant even in this naija .

I was at a naming yesterday evening, I posted a sneak peak of the video from the event on my timeline and people were asking me if it was indeed a naming ceremony or a wedding considering the crowd , the kinda food and drinks on display. They were more shocked when I mentioned that it was even a second wife’s naming ceremony sef. The father of the baby na senior man wey no dey consider economy when it is time to spend on parties . It is more like he just looks for any slight opportunity to spend money on parties.

Like I said , different people have what they are obsessed with in this naija

If food alone is taking 30% of your income, there is still accommodation which you have to pay. If you are single, that type of girl is someone to dey wary of cos na the type wey go push a regular guy to early death with financial pressure

Any obsession wey anyone get wey dey consume a healthy part of your income and its not even a necessity to survive na something to take to God in prayer

look at sikiria or whats his name. his daugher was working in nnpc and she was a director in his company getting money for doing nothing. can you imagine the lifetyle she must have been living?

once you are in a position of power in a large company

there is a company i have been trying to secure work in. the technical guys loove me because i have shown i know my stuff and we can get work done. the procurment guys have blocked us at eery turn . the procurment guys take 20% on every project. they dont care. you have a project worth 1 billion , you ae paid 20% up front, the procurment guy takes his cut.

you have the different cabala in every business robbing the company blind. people who dont know will say it is tinubu that is killing companies - when what is happening is different people have been robbing the compnay and now income has dropped, their theft is no longer sustainable.

any manufacturing business has a whole chain of people making money off generators and diesel. yo have a team who are ordering dieel for the company. you decide instead you build a fule dump and buy direct from a major. the project will be frustrated at every turn. your team says you use 5000 litres of diesel in a month. you engage a vendor with automatic guaging and they find your consumption is actually 2000 litres in a month.you sack and prosecute your entire engineering team, but everyone else in manufacturing hears and they all lock up and ensure they frustrate tank guaging in their own companies

i have spoken about how pump adjustment (which can make a dealer millions in a month)is a very very big thing in the downstream industry. at a time they found that there was a slush fund or protection money dealers were paying to a cabal. pay the money, adjust your pump without worry. but in the long run, this also impact on your station reputation. because the people on he street know your pumps are rigged. an okada rider or keke rider knows how much fuel it takes to fill his tank.

my brother is in LASBCA. the boy is an alfa [not that matters as plenty of thieves are religious] and he keeps complaining about the place, he wants out but work no dey like that. for most of his colleagues there he is the downer who they are not comfortable with. [when everyone na thief, we know we have the wall of silence because all our hand dey] he talked about a colleague who bought a big tv and ps5 because he could -after collecting a bribe, and the found he had no use for it

most of this big boy /baby girl lifestyle is unearned money. and you will see these guys fight tooth and nail to ensure the money flows. i know the way one procurement guy was fighting me when i did not agree to 20% and when i did not pay the full money up front. the entitlement of these people is sickening. but it is the cost of business

tech can lead to unsustainable lifestyle creep. and what is worse is that tech is now very volatile. they layoff without rhyme or reason. most of these companies shedding workforce are not declaring losses. but that is a lesson people usually have to learn the hard way.

Anybody living in Nigeria and not an APC member will not rate him more than 4/10 in the last one year considering the living conditions of people generally .

For the life of me, I never thought a loaf of bread will cost more than 1k between last year and this year .

U will visit a mall to buy just toiletries and when they scan on the cashiers desk u are already paying tens of thousands . 🤦‍♂️

Anybody who thinks because it is his first year and it’s too early to judge him is just being delusional . We all know as Nigerians that things can only get worse and not better . Let’s not even talk about cost of fueling a car sef .

I don't think the guy in that screenshot lives in Nigeria. 4/10 is being too generous. What is the 4/10 for?

Security is in shambles, economy in tatters, poverty is at all time high, agriculture is comatose and food inflation has skyrocketed.

Only reason I gave him 1/10 is for the few ministers who are trying their best.

Meanwhile on this fuel issue, I'm starting to think it's a ploy to prepare us for Dangote. Dangote will likely sell around 900-1000 which is the price we are currently buying.

The person in question might probably be from a well to do family or getting paid well for whatever she does for a living ( even if na onlyfans set ).

The point is different people have obsessions which they don’t spare anything to spend on. They will go the extra mile to spend on such obsession.

My former MD even though he’s way ahead of us in years , he always makes sure he buys the latest iPhone once it comes out. One of my colleagues back then is from a well-to-do family so he can afford some items beyond his salary. When iPhone 7+ was released , he bought it almost immediately it was available in naija .

You know what happened? My MD saw the phone with him and checked it out and further asked him about the functionality . This man bought same phone that week. Then when iPhone X came out baba bought same . He bought 11 pro max also after the release. It was that my colleague that told me it appears baba is just obsessed with all these smart gadgets and nothing more .

Tinubu has practically 4cked up every privilege we enjoy for being Nigerians who stayed put in this country . When I see people who don’t live in Nigeria having takes on the state of the country , I don’t get triggered anymore .

As for Dangote , he has the country held by the jugular , I give him credit for using every rule inside and outside of the book to make himself indispensable to both the government and even the common masses . Even when he’s taking decisions that goes against the masses , they will find reasons to sing his praise . Emefiele carry CBN dollar give him at subsidized rate but senior man about to sell fuel to us at international market rate. No wam!

any manufacturing business has a whole chain of people making money off generators and diesel. yo have a team who are ordering dieel for the company. you decide instead you build a fule dump and buy direct from a major. the project will be frustrated at every turn. your team says you use 5000 litres of diesel in a month. you engage a vendor with automatic guaging and they find your consumption is actually 2000 litres in a month.you sack and prosecute your entire engineering team, but everyone else in manufacturing hears and they all lock up and ensure they frustrate tank guaging in their own companies

i have spoken about how pump adjustment (which can make a dealer millions in a month)is a very very big thing in the downstream industry. at a time they found that there was a slush fund or protection money dealers were paying to a cabal. pay the money, adjust your pump without worry. but in the long run, this also impact on your station reputation. because the people on he street know your pumps are rigged. an okada rider or keke rider knows how much fuel it takes to fill his tank.

my brother is in LASBCA. the boy is an alfa [not that matters as plenty of thieves are religious] and he keeps complaining about the place, he wants out but work no dey like that. for most of his colleagues there he is the downer who they are not comfortable with. [when everyone na thief, we know we have the wall of silence because all our hand dey] he talked about a colleague who bought a big tv and ps5 because he could -after collecting a bribe, and the found he had no use for it

most of this big boy /baby girl lifestyle is unearned money. and you will see these guys fight tooth and nail to ensure the money flows. i know the way one procurement guy was fighting me when i did not agree to 20% and when i did not pay the full money up front. the entitlement of these people is sickening. but it is the cost of business

Make I shock you. Scientific calculator is now 8000 cheesy. I don't think it was more than 800 when I last bought it. What kind percentage increase is this? These were things we could easily afford from our meagre pocket money back in the days and still have enough to last us the month.

Saw a thread on twitter where most ladies were lamenting they can no longer afford to make their hair.

It has never been this bad.


Ah! Scientific calculator 8k keh ? As in normal Casio ? Not the one Texas instrument calculator those writing CFA use ? shocked

Around 2019 or thereabouts when I was to write an exam I asked someone to help me get that same Casio calculator which he did and collected 2,500 from me. I thought he actually added to the cost but I felt he earned it sha cos I needed it badly that day .

Na wa o. U sure say education never expensive pass ignorance like this ?

Like....nylon that was cut into a raincoat size, was imported?

We don't produce anything in this country. So, i won't be surprised if Oxford Maths Set gets to 15,000 someday

and nylon [polythene acually) is propduced as a by product by our refineries. same nylon they use to make trash bags. yet somehow we are importing trash bags. there was a time when there were some trash bags apparently made from nigerian polythene - at n300 for a pack of 20. they have vanished. now it is all imported trash bags starting from 1k for a pack of 20

we have collectively fked up this country in so many ways with our choices which are now coming home to roost

it is now cheaper to import exercise books than to print them
same for sanitary pads

i think we may even be importing the wood pulp used for the paper.
